Problem Note 58266: Creating a "Customer Indicator Measure" field and including missing values (IS MISSING expression) fails in SAS® Marketing Optimization
In SAS Marketing Optimization, the following scenario-execution error appears in the SAS Marketing Optimization log when you create a Customer Measure Indicator character field by selecting the Include missing values check box (which triggers the IS MISSING expression):
ERROR: Some calculated measures depend on other measures that are not defined.
To work around this problem, perform these steps (which trigger an OR expression rather than IS MISSING):
- Click the plus sign (+) that appears at the end of the table header row and add a value of your own choosing (for example,
abcdefg) that does not have any Count or Percent values.
- Then select the Include missing values check box and click OK.
