SAS Security Certificate Framework errors might occur when you attempt to install the SAS PC Files Server and other stand-alone applications on machines on which a newer copy of SAS has been installed.

To resolve the problem, install the SAS PC Files Server from your SAS Software Depot that has the same version of the CERTFRAME installer. If you are unsure about the version, contact SAS Technical Support for assistance.

When you are installing the SAS PC Files Server as a stand-alone installation, a SAS Security Certificate Framework error might occur. The problem occurs because the CERTFRAME component used by the stand-alone installers is older than the ones installed by your SAS® system.
