Problem Note 58242: The sort order of rows for DBMS tables is incorrect in the SAS® Studio table viewer
The sort order is incorrect in the SAS Studio table viewer when a filter is applied to a sorted character column in a DBMS table.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After this hot fix is applied to SAS® Studio 3.5, sorting is restricted to 500,000 rows or less. If a sort is attempted with more rows, the following message is displayed:
"The table cannot be sorted because it exceeds 500000 rows.
Use a filter to reduce the number of rows in the table."
If Hot Fix W6002 was applied to upgrade SAS® Studio 3.4 to SAS Studio 3.5, the sort order for character columns will be correct. However, you will encounter the 500,000 row restriction.
