Problem Note 58190: SASĀ® Life Science Analytics Framework 4.6 - Membership removal fails with a transaction rolled back error message
In SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 4.6, membership removal can fail with the following error.
This can happen if a user is set as assignee, a candidate, or a notification recipient in a user task for a process flow. This process flow must be associated with a context that has been logically deleted, but not permanently deleted. In other words, the context is still in the Recycle Bin. The membership removal processing tries to remove the process flow by removing the user from the location. It fails because the path to the process flow is in the Recycle Bin.
The following actions fail due to this defect (assuming there is an associated process flow on the context in the state described above):
-
Deactivate user (which removes membership)
-
Membership removal on Organization
-
Membership removal on Project
-
Membership removal on an Analysis
