Problem Note 58156: The %TKMI_JOB_RO etl_end_service task has poor performance

The %TKMI_JOB_RO etl_end_service task might have poor performance when SAS® Markdown Optimization plans use the multi-objective feature. Markdown plans are using multiple objective when the DI_TRANS.MDO_PLAN.OBJECTIVE_CD is set to 5, 6, 7 or 8.
This issue occurs because these plans are run in online-mode during batch optimization. Online mode uses more memory for optimization than batch mode. When many multi-objective plans are run concurrently, the memory requirements might cause the server to swap. Swapping can degrade performance and increase the run time.
The workaround for this issue is to change the DI_TRANS.MDO_PLAN.EVAL_OPT_REQ_CD to a value other than 1 or 11 before running the %TKMI_JOB_RO etl_end_service task.
