Installation Note 58085: The SAS® Deployment Wizard might fail if a Java Runtime Environment is not installed before you install the SAS® Federation Server
The SAS Deployment Wizard might fail with the following error if a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) with a matching bit architecture is not installed before you install the SAS Federation Server:
To circumvent this error, do not exit the SAS Deployment Wizard. Make sure that Java 7 is installed and configured in your operating system, per the SAS Federation Server 4.1 requirements. If Java 7 is not installed, then you need to install it. Once Java 7 is installed, click Retry in the SAS Deployment Wizard and proceed with the installation.
