Problem Note 57937: Scoring Category code results miss top level columns
The Category score code from SAS® Contextual Analysis incorrectly omits category-match columns for categories that have no matches to self or to children. This omission is inconsistent with the output in the data set that is generated by using the File ► Score External Data Set in the SAS Contextual Analysis user interface.
For example, in the sampsio.news data set, there are three possible outcomes for the newsgroup variable: "graphics," "hockey," and "medical." If you use the newsgroup variable as the Category during project creation, then the output data set that is created by the interface includes the following four columns. Those columns are missing from the scoring output when using the Category score code:
- Top/newsgroup
- Top/newsgroup/graphics
- Top/newsgroup/hockey
- Top/newsgroup/medical
