Problem Note 57900: An error occurs when you schedule a campaign group with member campaigns in SAS® Customer Intelligence

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Scheduling a campaign group in SAS Customer Intelligence with member campaigns creates independent flows in the scheduler.

Even though member campaign exports start 1 or 2 minutes (offset) after the optimization starts, the member-campaign exports do not wait for the optimization to complete. The member-campaign exports then fail with the following error:

2016-03-03 13:46:58,039 ERROR [b585755121440ae4:4bc83555:1533e03fad6:-3994] [sasdemo] [b585755121440ae4:-30ddabf6:15333ce44fe:-175a] CIExecutionManager Problem executing: campaign EEBD0MZYORHZQTUG for user SAS Demo User: immediate cause: The following problems have been reported: This campaign cannot be executed since it was not included in the last optimization. It might have been outside of the optimization horizon or added to the group after optimization. The campaign group must be optimized first before any member campaigns can be executed. com.sas.analytics.crm.error.client.UserException at com.sas.analytics.crm.cm.Campaign.executeCampaign(Campaign.java:3205)

As a workaround, send the campaign group and member-campaign schedules to the administrator. Then use the SAS® Management Console Schedule Manager plug-in to create a new flow with dependencies between the campaign-group optimization and member-campaign export jobs.
