Problem Note 57737: "I/O error during 'open' operation" or "No such file or directory" occurs when you use the SAS® Federation Server 4.1 backup utility with SQL Logging

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you try to run the backup utility dfsutil with SQL Logging in SAS Federation Server 4.1 on a UNIX machine, the following error occurs:

Backing up database...

gbak: ERROR:I/O error during "open" operation for file "/opt/sas/config/Lev1/FederationServer/var/SQL_LOG.TDB"
gbak: ERROR: Error while trying to open file
gbak: ERROR: No such file or directory
gbak:Exiting before completion due to errors

ERROR: gbak exited with error code

The dfsutil backup utility does not work with SQL_LOG on UNIX machines because of an issue with the script provided in the installation depot.
