Problem Note 57646: Model Retrain task in SAS® Model Manager returns "ERROR: The login to SAS Model Manager has failed with a return code of '-1'"

In SAS Model Manager, running the Model Retrain task might return the following error message:
ERROR: The login to SAS Model Manager has failed with a return code of "-1".
This Java error is displayed in the associated log file:
java.lang.IllegalStateException:
org.springframework.remoting.RemoteConnectFailureException:
Could not connect to HTTP invoker remote service
at[https://sasanalytics.unix.vmoney.local/SASWIPClientAccess/remote/ServiceRegistry];
nested exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out
This error occurs when you have a configuration that contains an external proxy-server or when there is a load balancer in front of the SAS Middle Tier.
There is no workaround for this issue.
