In SAS^® Life Science Analytics Framework, long quoted strings or strings with unbalanced quotation marks in SAS^® Macro code might result in incorrect WARNING messages being posted to the Job Manifest. The WARNING messages should be changed from WARNINGs to NOTEs, when the messages warn about very long quoted strings. This is an issue with SAS^® Workspace Servers and is addressed in two hot fixes.

These SAS notes explain the underlying cause of this problem:

• Problem Note 57574: A long quoted string within the SAS® Macro facility incorrectly generates a warning when it should be a note
• Problem Note 57254: The &SYSCC automatic macro variable returns an incorrect value when the SASAUTOS= system option contains an unmatched quotation mark

The hot fixes included with these SAS^® notes should be applied to SAS^® Life Science Analytics Framework instances for SAS^® 9.4TS1M3 on all available SAS^® Workspace Servers. This change requires a restart of the SAS^® Workspace Servers.
