In SAS Enterprise GRC, incident investigators can change the discovery location of an incident before sending the incident for validation. A new configuration option enables investigators to select a discovery location outside of the scope of their assigned positions before sending the incident for validation.
To enable this capability, specify the following configuration property in the configdata.properties file:
monitor.validation.modifyDataWithValidation = true
When you enable this capability, you should also ensure that the following configuration property is set in the configdata.properties file:
monitor.incidentComponentSecurity.ignored = true
