Problem Note 57967: Dates in European format are interpreted incorrectly for rule estimations in SASĀ® Fraud Management 4.2_M1
In SAS Fraud Management 4.2_M1, dates in European format are interpreted incorrectly for rule estimations.
When the date format for the web application is set to European style, the rule estimation incorrectly interprets the start-date and end-date filters that are entered for the estimation. The estimation might report an invalid date or it might not generate the expected results.
To avoid this issue, adjust the web-application properties for date and time by following these steps:
- In the SAS Fraud Management web application, click the Preferences tab.
- Select System Properties ► Web Application in the left navigation pane.
- Locate the webapp.date.format property in the Property Type Name -- Web Application table.
- Update the property value for the webapp.date.format property to the MM/dd/yyyy format.
- Locate the webapp.date.time.format property in the Property Type Name -- Web Application table.
- Update the property value for the webapp.date.time.format property to the MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss format.
- Click the Save Changes button.
