Problem Note 57681: The post-update task for SAS® Environment Manager might fail when you apply software updates
When you are applying software updates with the SAS® Deployment Wizard, you might receive a failure when the post-update task runs for the SAS Environment Manager. In the vfabrchyperc_postapplyUpdate_date_time.log, you might see this:

Workaround
- Navigate to your Windows services.
- Restart the SAS Environment Manager Server service. Wait approximately 5 minutes to allow the SAS Environment Manager Server to fully initialize.
- Click Retry in the SAS Deployment Wizard.
