Problem Note 57638: Unable to set the Hold Qty back to zero on the header definition record in SASĀ® Merchandise Allocation
In SAS Merchandise Allocation, you are unable to set the Hold Qty back to zero on the header definition record. This issue occurs because changing the Ship Qty to a value less than the Total Qty in the Allocation definition header automatically puts the remaining value in Hold Qty. Once this happens, you are unable to get the Hold Qty at the Header level back to zero. The same behavior happens when a value is manually entering in the Hold Qty.
To work around this issue, set the Hold Qty back to zero in the Allocation definition detail record. You must do this for all the detail records with a Hold Qty greater than zero that are associated with the header record. The Hold Qty, Ship Qty, and Total QTy KPIs can be added to the Business View to help identify which detail records need to be adjusted.
