Problem Note 57547: When you submit code, SAS® Enterprise Guide® might display "Requested file already accessed for Update"
When you submit code in SAS Enterprise Guide, you might see the following error:
Requested file already accessed for Update
This error can occur if you open a program stored on the SAS® server, submit the code a second time, and choose not to replace the results from the previous run. The error does not occur if you submit code from files that are stored on your local PC, or if you select File ► New ► Program and manually type or paste code into the window.
As a workaround, you can do one of the following:
- Use program files stored on your local PC and not the server.
- Choose to replace the results when you submit the code subsequent times.
