When you run a SAS Embedded Process MapReduce job on Hortonworks 2.2, you might encounter an error similar to the one shown below. The problem occurs because SAS Embedded Process is not supported with Hortonworks 2.2.

Workaround

When you install SAS Embedded Process on Hortonworks 2.2, revise the following properties in the mapred-site.xml property file.

1. Change the mapreduce.application.framework.path property as shown below.

From this:

/hdp/apps/${hdp.version}/mapreduce/mapreduce.tar.gz#mr-framework

To this:
/hdp/apps/2.2.0.0-2041/mapreduce/mapreduce.tar.gz#yarn
2. Change the mapreduce.application.classpath property as shown below.

From this:
