Problem Note 57247: Passing a character array to a user-defined function that is called by PROC FCMP can generate errors

The following error message is generated when the FCMP procedure calls a function that contains a character array:
ERROR: parsing error generating code
The following error messages are generated when a function that is created by PROC FCMP is called recursively and a character array is defined as an argument to the function call:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
