Problem Note 57202: Business Rules transformation options in SAS® Data Integration Studio do not persist in the metadata when the job is saved
When working with the Business Rules transformation in SAS Data Integration Studio, you might encounter one of the following issues from the options set when you select Business Rule Properties ► Options ► Business Rule Flow Advanced:
-
Auto-generated or user-entered values for the Business Rule Flow file reference option are not saved with the job metadata. Therefore, this option is reset with a new randomly generated name every time the job is opened or deployed.
-
Auto-generated or user-entered values for the Business Rule Flow file logical record length option are not saved with the job metadata. Instead, the value gets set to 32767 every time the job is opened.
-
Clicking the Reset link associated with the Business Rule Flow file logical record length option changes the value to 32768. This value is higher than the maximum-allowable value of 32767 and results in errors.
