Problem Note 57069: SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Microsoft SQL Server might throw an "Output buffer overflow" error when Kerberos authentication is used
Using SAS/ACCESS Interface to Microsoft SQL Server with Kerberos authentication (AuthenticationMethod=4 in the odbc.ini) might result in a "buffer overflow" error as in the message below:
ERROR: CLI error trying to establish connection: [SAS/ACCESS to SQL Server]
[ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Security Services
Error: Output buffer overflow
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
This error might be seen by users who belong to many operating system groups, causing an excessively long "TokenSize" to be generated and resulting in a buffer overflow error.
A driver update corrects this issue.
