Problem Note 56896: The Validate Expression action fails and incorrectly reports an invalid expression in Extract transformations in SAS® Data Integration Studio
When you click Validate Expression in the Advanced window of an expression on the Mappings tab of an Extract transformation, the action fails and the following message appears:
This error occurs even if the expression should have passed validation.

fixed.
When you attempt to validate an expression on the Mappings tab of an Extract transformation in SAS Data Integration Studio, you receive an invalid expression error even if the expression is valid.
