Problem Note 56693: Data jobs in SAS® Data Management Studio and SAS® Data Management Server might stop responding or fail with errors

When a data job that contains two or more Geocoding nodes is run on SAS® Data Management Studio 2.6 or SAS® Data Management Server 2.6, the job might stop responding or fail with errors. If a job stops responding, you might need to manually terminate the process. If a job fails, an error message similar to the following might appear in the log:
SAS Data Management Studio
SAS Data Management Server
This issue, which is specific to version 2.6, occurs when a null pointer is created during the initialization of the second Geocoding node. If you run the same job on an earlier version of SAS Data Management Studio or SAS Data Management Server, it should complete successfully.
The only workaround for this issue is to restructure the data job so that it contains only one Geocoding node.
