Problem Note 56587: Results from batch optimization might not be correct for a promotion that contains products from multiple partitions
In SAS® Promotion Optimization, results generated from batch optimization might not be correct for a promotion that contains products from multiple partitions. When this issue occurs, you might notice products in the Promoted Products table that have missing metric values after a batch optimization run. This issue occurs because batch optimization only processes information for products from one partition and then does not process information for the products from the other partitions. A message similar to the following is generated in the MerchIntelGridSvr.log file during batch optimization when this issue occurs:
NOTE: RPP Plan[XXXXXX] previously processed successfully -- skipped.
The workaround for this issue is to run online optimization for promotions that contain products from multiple partitions.
