Problem Note 56551: Updates to the Contact History table in the SAS® Customer Intelligence Common Data Model fail without any warnings or errors

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

If you attempt to update the Contact History table during campaign execution, that update might fail. When the failure occurs, there is no error or warning shown in the SAS Customer Intelligence log.

The problem occurs when both of the following are true:

  • The check box temporary capability of database is selected. This check box appears in the Options section on the Settings tab of the Business Context Properties dialog box. (You can find the Settings tab by selecting Setup workspace ► Business Context Properties ► Settings in SAS Customer Intelligence.)
  • The SQL_FUNCTIONS=ALL LIBNAME statement option is included in the definition for the SAS Customer Intelligence data mart in the SAS® Management Console data-library definition.

To avoid this problem, do not select the Use temporary table capability of database check box when the SQL_FUNCTIONS=ALL LIBNAME statement option is used.
