Problem Note 56536: The HPSVM node scores and score code is incorrect when the Active Set optimization method is used and the target variable order is changed
In SAS® Enterprise Miner™, the HPSVM node score code and scored data might be incorrect. The problem occurs when all of these conditions are true:
- When you create a data source, you specify an Order value for the target variable, or you leave the
Order value blank.
- After you drag the data source to the diagram, you make a change to the Order value in the Input
Data node, or in a Metadata node.
- The change that you make causes the sorted order of the target to reverse.
- You use an HPSVM node in which the Optimization Method is set to Active Set.
The score code that is created by the node is incorrect. The target variable level that is modeled incorrectly corresponds to the sort order that was used when the data source was created. However, the changed sorted order should have been used instead.
There are no errors or warnings to indicate a problem.
To avoid the problem, specify the desired Order when you create the data source. Do not change the order after the data source is created.
