Problem Note 56452: ODS Excel and ODS PowerPoint generate invalid files on z/OS for specific locales

Files that are generated when you use either the ODS Excel or ODS PowerPoint destination in the z/OS operating environment are not valid files and cannot be opened. This is most likely to occur if you are running either a Spanish or Polish edition of SAS®.
No errors are written to the SAS log when this occurs. However, a dialog box indicating that the file is not a valid archive is displayed when you attempt to open the file.
