Problem Note 56344: Duplicate values for the RESPONSE_CD table column appear in the Common Data Model when you import response SPK files
In SAS® Marketing Automation, you might see duplicate RESPONSE_CD values in the CI_RESPONSE table when you import responses from a SAS model package (SPK) file, as shown below:
As you can see, the values
U22 and
U23 are inserted twice. The following display shows that the CI_RESPONSE_CHANNEL_RESPONSE table shows a value of DECLINED for all cells of the RESPONSE_CHANNEL_CD column:
When this problem happens, you might not notice errors or warnings in the Import log. An error does occur when you import the SPK file. That error does not stop the import process. However, it saves the response definitions without surrogate keys (SKs).
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply the hot fix, the import process continues to show errors or warnings. However, when you import response definitions with duplicate channel response codes, the duplicates are cleared (set to blank) and the user is required to enter new channel response codes that are not duplicates.
