Problem Note 56210: Duplicated rows appear in the CI_CELL_PACKAGE_COUNT work table after you run the %CICOUNT macro
After you execute the %CICOUNT macro to build counts from the SAS® Customer Intelligence reporting common data model (CDM), duplicate rows might be written to the CI_CELL_PACKAGE_COUNT work table.
The duplication occurs in the portion of the code that calculates holdout counts. In that code, the marketing cell for a CELL_PACKAGE_SK row is joined to the CI_CTL_GRP_CELL_X_TEST_CELL table based on the marketing-cell surrogate key.
However, it is possible to have multiple cell-package surrogate keys that are associated with the same marketing-cell surrogate key. This issue occurs, typically, because campaigns or communications are executed multiple times where new cell-package surrogate keys are created but the marketing-cell surrogate key remains the same.
