Hot Fix P83005 provides resolutions for the following SAS Strategy Management 5.6_M1 deployment issues:

• When you perform an out-of-the-box SAS^® 9.4_M3 installation and configuration, SAS Strategy Management Extension for SAS Preferences fails to configure during the stage in which content is loaded. You encounter the following error during the out-of-the-box deployment:
  

  The following problem was encountered while configuring SAS Strategy Management 
  Extension for SAS Preferences: 
  
  Error installing a Web Service. 
  
  Configuration script:
  
  C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASStrategyManagementExtensionsforSASPreferences
  \5.6\Config\spmprefxpoll_config.xml 

• The SAS Strategy Management data-tier configuration fails when you perform a migration deployment from SAS^® Strategy Management 5.2 to SAS Strategy Management 5.6_M1. Errors that you might encounter include:

  org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: date/time field value out of range:
  "0000-00-00 00:00:00"
  
  org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: duplicate key value violates unique 
  constraint "sas_displaylabel_pkey"

• The SAS Strategy Management data-tier configuration fails when you perform a same-release migration deployment to SAS Strategy Management 5.6_M1. You might encounter the following error in this scenario:

  The following error occurred while executing this line:
  
  C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASStrategyManagementDataTier\5.6\Config\configure.xml
  
  No case matched the value 5.6_M1 and no default has been specified.
