Usage Note 56673: When 32-bit SAS® 9.4 is installed, the Renew SAS Software (32-bit) shortcut is missing on Microsoft Windows operating systems
If 32-bit SAS® 9.4 (TS1M1) or 32-bit SAS® 9.4 (TS1M2) is installed, the Renew SAS Software (32-bit) shortcut is missing in Microsoft Windows operating environments.
When you select Start ► All Programs ► SAS ► Utilities, the shortcut to run the Renew SAS Software for a 32-bit installation is missing.

However, even though the Renew SAS Software (32-bit) menu item is missing, the SASRenew.exe file is installed on the machine.
To renew 32-bit SAS 9.4 installed on a 64-bit operating system, go to the SAS-home\x86\SASRenewalUtility\9.4 directory, right-click SASRenew.exe, and select Run as Administrator. Here is an example:
C:\Program Files\SASHome\x86\SASRenewalUtility\9.4\SASRenew.exe
To renew 32-bit SAS 9.4 installed on a 32-bit operating system, go to the SAS-home\SASRenewalUtility\9.4 directory, right-click SASRenew.exe, and select Run as Administrator. Here is an example:
C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASRenewalUtility\9.4\SASRenew.exe

Starting in SAS® 9.4 (TS1M3), this shortcut is available via the menus by selecting Start ► All Programs ► SAS ► Utilities ► Renew SAS Software:

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
SAS 9.4 (TS1M1) 32-bit and SAS 9.4 (TS1M2) 32-bit installations did not create the Start ► All Programs ► SAS ► Utilities ► Renew SAS Software menu item. However, the SASRenew.exe file that is associated with this menu item is installed on the machine. Start SASRenew.exe to renew the SAS license.
