Problem Note 56434: Performing a deployment in SASĀ® Visual Scenario Designer returns "unexpected or unmatched end of element tag ..." errors and XML parsing errors
When you perform a deployment in SAS Visual Scenario Designer, error messages are displayed in the log file:
WARNING: DOCTYPE element encountered. The SAS XML Libname Engine does not support processing of Data Type Definitions (DTD). External entity references in the document will not be resolved, and
no mark up validation will be performed.
ERROR: Unexpected or unmatched end of element tag
occurred at or near line 12, column 7
ERROR: XML parsing error. Please verify that the XML content is well-formed.
The problem occurs when the server that runs SAS Visual Scenario Designer is configured to use a secure connection (HTTPS). The problem does not occur when deploying to a server that is configured to use HTTP.

Performing a deployment works when properly configured to use HTTP. Using HTTPS produces errors.
