Problem Note 56343: Errors might be generated when path options in a SAS® Scalable Performance Data (SPD) Engine LIBNAME statement contain double-byte characters
Error messages like the following might be generated when you use the SAS Scalable Performance Data (SPD) Engine in a LIBNAME statement:
ERROR: The destination buffer size was not sufficient for the transcoded data.
ERROR: Internal software error detected - hphelas 342
This problem is most likely to occur if any of the path options, such as DATAPATH= or INDEXPATH=, contain double-byte character set (DBCS) characters.

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
A LIBNAME statement that uses the SPD Engine and contains DBCS characters in any of the path options might generate errors and fail.
