Problem Note 56167: The error "WRAP_ERROR: WINIOWRAP open file limit 8192 exceeded" occurs when you process a large SAS® SPD Server table on a Windows platform

When you run a job that opens a large SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server table, "WRAP_ERROR: WINIOWRAP open file limit 8192 exceeded" might occur. And an error message similar to the following is reported in the SAS log:
MPRINT(PAM_PARTITION_CLUSTER_GEN): data spdstmp.clstr_temp1; MPRINT(PAM_PARTITION_CLUSTER_GEN): set pamfact.PAM_ASSET_LOC_MEASURE_FACT; MPRINT(PAM_PARTITION_CLUSTER_GEN): where 20147 >= PAM_DATE_DIM_RK >= 20120 and 31405 >= PAM_TAG_DIM_RK >= 1 ; MPRINT(PAM_PARTITION_CLUSTER_GEN): run; ERROR: Write failed. Number of observations written to disk is 62914560. ERROR: Process or system file limit exceeded.
The problem occurs because the open file limit in Windows is set by default to 8192 for SAS SPD Server.
