Problem Note 56161: Error messages appear in the SAS® log and the step terminates when you use the AUTHTLS option in the FILENAME FTP statement
If you use the AUTHTLS option to implement File Transfer Protocol Secure (FTPS) under z/OS, error messages might be returned and the step might terminate. You might encounter this problem if you use the hot fix for the second maintenance release for SAS® 9.4 (TS1M2) that is described in SAS Note 56154: "File Transfer Protocol Secure (FTPS) is not supported in SAS® 9.4 TS1M2." This problem is caused because the AUTHTLS option does not handle certain encrypted packets during handshaking when you use FTPS.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
