The Kerberos authentication protocol is now supported in IBM Platform Process Manager 9.1.3. However, that support is not available in the Platform Suite for SAS^® in the second maintenance release of SAS 9.4 (TS1M2) or earlier.

This hot fix adds support for the Kerberos authentication protocol for the Platform Suite for SAS in SAS 9.4 TS1M2 and earlier.

Notes:

• After you install this hot fix, you need to request the latest release of Platform Suite for SAS from SAS Technical Support. You must send your SAS order number with the request to enable Technical Support to verify that you have a supported release of the software.
• You must also set the following parameter in the lsf.conf file that resides in the LSF configuration directory ($LSF_ENVDIR).
LSB_KRB_TGT_FWD=Y
• After you set this parameter, restart Platform LSF.
