Problem Note 55723: A Catalog Search Interface (CSI) failure occurs when you are accessing MVS Bound Libraries and User Defined folders from SAS® Enterprise Guide®
When you expand an MVS Bound Library or User Defined folder in SAS Enterprise Guide,
you might see the message shown below. The error occurs if the results being returned contain
a z/OS GDG (generation data group) with more than 48 generations.
[Error] Catalog interface (CSI) failure: rc= 131072 (decimal), reason code= 0 (decimal).
For example, if you have an MVS Bound Library defined as NA4.* and there is a GDG with more than 48 generations called NA4.RA.AP.DATA, the error occurs and the MVS Bound Library does not expand.
To work around the issue, change the MVS Bound Library or User Defined folder to
be more granular to exclude the GDG. In the example, you would change the entry from NA4.* to NA4.RA.PQF.*
