Problem Note 55722: Publishing data to the Common Data Model might fail when you use the Teradata options TPT=YES and FASTLOAD
Publishing to the Comom Data Model might fail when you use the combination of the TPT=YES and FASTLOAD Teradata options in the Common Data Model library.
When this problem occurs, the following error message might be generated in the SASCustIntellCore6.3.log file:
2015-03-31T23:43:35,338 INFO [00020862] 28:sasdemo - ERROR:
Teradata connection: Name requires more than 30 bytes in LATIN internal form.
Correct error and restart as an APPEND process with option TPT_RESTART=YES.
Since no checkpoints were taken,
2015-03-31T23:43:35,338 INFO [00020862] 28:sasdemo - if
the previous run used FIRSTOBS=n, use the same value in the restart.
2015-03-31T23:43:35,338 INFO [00020862] 28:sasdemo - NOTE: The
SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors.
2015-03-31T23:43:35,338 INFO [00020862] 28:sasdemo@ - ERROR:
ROLLBACK issued due to errors for data set CDM.CI_DYNAMIC_TREATMENT_ATTR_EXT.DATA.
The Common Data Model library should not have the FASTLOAD, BULKLOAD or MULTILOAD options enabled. Doing so causes a publish process or a campaign execution to fail. Those options are supported only in the Bulkload Options dialog box.
Therefore, to resolve the issue described in this note, you need to remove the FASTLOAD option from the Common Data Model LIBNAME statement.
