Installation Note 55646: SAS® Digital Marketing server components are not updated to release 6.4 when you perform an upgrade-in-place migration

When you perform an upgrade-in-place migration from SAS Digital Marketing 6.3 to 6.4, the SAS Digital Marketing server components are not upgraded to release 6.4.
In this upgrade-in-place scenario, the files in the SAS-configuration-folder\LevN\Applications\SASCustomerIntelligence\SASDigitalMarketing folder, which are delivered with the server tier, are not upgraded.
The SAS-configuration-folder\LevN\Applications\SASCustomerIntelligence\SASDigitalMarketing folder should contain the following items:
- samples folder
- doc folder
- sasmacro folder
- ebtool files (.exe and .ini)
- studio files (.exe and .ini)
- migrate files (.exe and .ini)
You should not perform an upgrade-in-place migration from release 6.3 to 6.4 until a hot fix is available for this problem.

After you apply the Hot Fix and perform an upgrade-in-place migration in Microsoft Windows operating environments, the SAS Digital Marketing 6.3 shortcut incorrectly remains available. You should manually delete this shortcut.
