In SAS Customer Intelligence, the options Use the most current data when referenced by a link and Use the most current data when executing communications do not work when you execute communications.

This problem is not specific to the scheduled execution of the communication nodes. It happens when you execute the communication nodes in SAS^® Customer Intelligence Studio by clicking Execute Now or by right-clicking the communication node and selecting Run. The problem also occurs when you perform the following steps:

1. In the linked diagram, you select the check box Use the most current data when referenced by a link.
   
   

   

2. In the campaign, you select the check box Use the most current data when executing communications.
   
   

   

The expected behavior is that the linked diagram should rerun when the downstream communication nodes in the campaign are executed. Instead, executing the campaign forces the linked diagram to rerun.
