Problem Note 55525: The FINANCE function with the XIRR parameter might return an error or "Note: Invalid argument to function FINANCE"
One of the following messages might be generated when you compute the internal rate of return for a schedule of cash flows that is not necessarily periodic (XIRR) with the FINANCE function:
ERROR: An unknown, abnormal error has occurred during execution at line nn column x.
NOTE: Invalid argument to function FINANCE at line nnn column x.
This issue is sporadic and can be data dependent.
