Usage Note 55505: A "Load utility version is incompatible with Identity Column load" error occurs when you are using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Teradata with FastLoad
When using SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata with FastLoad to insert data into a Teradata table, you might receive the following message:
ERROR: FastLoad failed the begin loading statement: Load utility version is incompatible with Identity Column load.
The problem occurs when you are using the Teradata FastLoad utility without the Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) to load into a Teradata identity column.
To circumvent the problem, specify the TPT=YES LIBNAME or DATA Set option in your code. Also, make sure that TPT is installed both on the client machine that is running SAS and on the Teradata server.

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
The error "FastLoad failed the begin loading statement: Load utility version is incompatible with Identity Column load" occurs when the Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) FastLoad is not installed. To circumvent the problem, use TPT.
