Problem Note 55443: An error occurs when you define numeric-only code formats in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
In SAS® Customer Intelligence 6.1 or later, when you use SAS Customer Intelligence Studio to define a numeric-only code format, the process fails. In addition, you might receive the following error message:
Business Context failed to validate because the Code Settings were invalid.
Field 'Code Format' of Campaign contains only formatting characters.
Beginning with SAS® Customer Intelligence 6.1, you can no longer use JUST the number (#) sign to change the code format to a numeric-only format. Instead, you have to use the # sign with the entire format name, as shown below:
As a workaround, you can use just 0# to change to a numeric-only code format.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply the hot fix, you can again use just the # sign to change to a numeric-only code format.
