Problem Note 55408: The error "HTTP Status 403" occurs in SAS® Web Parts for Microsoft SharePoint
After you apply Hot Fix R74002, or when you are using SAS® 9.4M3 for a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) issue, SAS Web Parts for Microsoft SharePoint might display an HTTP Status 403 error message. The message occurs within the SAS Content Viewer Web Part or when you browse from the SAS Central Web Part.

Circumvention
To circumvent this error, do the following:
- Open SAS® Management Console and connect to the SAS® Metadata Server, logging in as administrator.
- Expand Application Management and Configuration Manager and locate SAS Application Infrastructure.
- Right-click SAS Application Infrastructure and select Properties.
- In the SAS Application Infrastructure Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
- Click the Add button to add the following two properties:
- sas.web.csrf.referers.knownHosts
- For the property value, use a comma-delimited list in the following format: protocol://host[:port]/
Note: enter the url for the Sharepoint server(s) site(s) using the web parts
- Important: Do not omit the trailing slash ( / ). This slash needs to be at the end of each host name entered.
Example: http://server1.company.com/,http://server2.com/
- sas.web.csrf.referers.performCheck
- Set the property value to True.
- Click OK to save the changes.
- Restart the SAS middle-tier servers so that these changes take effect.
