In SAS® Pack Optimization, certain scenarios using very large plan.xml files might cause excessive middle-tier log file sizes due to the recurring message below:
The recurring messages in the mid-tier are valid. The message explains that the system is defaulting to using all sizes for a given style because no size set was specified for the related product_id. The system generates this message every time it encounters the condition, even if the message has already been generated for a product_id.
The excessive middle-tier log file size might be encountered when a large plan.xml file is used to create purchase orders where size sets are not specified and allowed to default.
There is no workaround for this issue, other than properly specifying the size set or allowing extra log space in anticipation of excessive log sizes.
