Problem Note 55303: Previewing a Communication node export might fail with the error "The SAS Digital Marketing configuration is either not available or not valid"

SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio offers preview capabilities when you create or edit a selection campaign in the Communication node. The software enables you to preview the exported contents before it executes the node and creates the export table.
To preview the exported contents, navigate to the Exports page of the Communication Properties dialog box and click Preview Export. You might encounter an issue, however, when you choose SAS Digital Marketing as the export definition for the Communication node. In this situation, when you click Preview Export, the preview might fail and the following error message might appear:
The SAS Digital Marketing configuration is either not available or not valid. Check the log file for details
To work around this issue:
- Close the error message.
- Click OK in the Communication Properties dialog box.
- Reopen the Communication Properties dialog box.
- Click Preview Export.
