Problem Note 55261: Updates to the user ID or password Administrative parameters fail in the ASP Definition Manager in SAS® Digital Marketing Studio
In SAS Digital Marketing Studio, updates to the user ID or password Administrative parameters fail in the ASP Definition Manager. Updates seem to occur, but the original user ID and password are still present.
In addition, when you view SAS® Management Console user accounts for the Digital Marketing: Server Manager, the newly created user ID is not shown.
There are a number of workarounds for this issue. You can use either of the following workarounds:
-
Instead of updating an existing ASP definition with a new user ID or password, create a new ASP definition.
-
After you edit the user ID or password of a duplicated ASP definition, restart SAS® Digital Marketing server.
-
Perform the same editing twice. This action enforces the values.
