Problem Note 55975: The option to distribute a report might be missing from SASĀ® Web Report Studio
If your middle-tier operating system is AIX, and you are using the in-process scheduler, SAS Web Report Studio might not display the Distribute option on the File menu. This problem can occur even though you are in the required roles and the scheduler is set up correctly.
When this problem occurs, the SAS Web Report Studio log usually contains the following error:
[WRS] ERROR [WRSThreadPool 1] 2015-05-13 20:20:38,477 [unknown:unknown] model.scheduler.inprocess.WRSExecutionProvider -
Initialization of "In Process" scheduling has failed.
(Root Cause: java.net.SocketException: The socket name is not available on this system.
To resolve this issue, open your setenv.sh file in a plain text editor and change the value of -Djava.net.perferIPv4STack from false to true. To enforce the change, restart your web application server. The setenv.sh file is located in ...Lev1/Web/WebAppServer/SASServerX_Y/bin.
