Problem Note 55905: Performance Analysis views in SASĀ® Merchandise Planning saved with created variance KPIs do not allow further property edits to some members
In SAS® Merchandise Planning, Performance Analysis views that include created variance KPIs incorrectly do not allow you to ability to edit the merchandise, location, and time properties. These properties are incorrectly grayed out and not available for editing.
A workaround for this issue is to make a copy of the impacted worksheet. Making a copy enables you to modify the properties of the copied worksheet as needed and to create a new Performance Analysis view. As long as you do not save the worksheet with created variance KPIs, the worksheet properties remain editable. You can delete the original worksheet.
To prevent this issue from occurring, use the Template Manager to add KPIs (including created variances), alter the layout of the worksheet, and add tasks. Then apply this template to a Performance Analysis view. Once a template has been applied to the Performance Analysis view while it is opened, the template is automatically associated with the worksheet and there is no need to save. If you need to alter a template, you can also leverage the new functionality in SAS Merchandise Planning 6.5 to push template changes to worksheets associated with that template.
