Problem Note 55861: The ETL process for a SAS® Environment Manager data mart fails when your environment includes server that has single-level host name
The extract, transform, and load (ETL) process for a SAS Environment Manager data mart fails when your environment includes a server that has a single-level host name. For example, a failure does not occur if you have a multilevel host name such as my-server.my-domain.com. However, a failure does occur if your host is named my-server.
When the failure occurs, an error message similar to the following appear in the SAS log file:
ERROR: For format $GET_TZ, this range is repeated, or values overlap:
SVXSASMTPRD02-SVXSASMTPRD02.
These messages might appear in multiple log files that have names with the following syntax:
xxx_createResourceInventory_YYYYMMMDD_HHmm.sas.log
In this syntax:
- xxx specifies one of the following values: ACM, APM, or
KITS
- YYYYMMMDD_HHmm specifies the year, month, date, hour, and minute values for a datetime stamp.
To avoid this problem, do not use a single-level host name.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future software release.
