Loading content is one step in deploying the SAS^® web applications. If this step fails, you might encounter some or all of the following behaviors:

• From SAS^® Visual Analytics Viewer, you cannot see any reports in the Open dialog box even though you can open reports from the Recent list.
• From the SAS^® Visual Analytics Designer, the Types list is blank in the Open dialog box even though reports are shown. You can also open reports from the Recent list.
• When you attempt to open a stored process from the home page, you see the message "The object was unable to be opened." However, you are able to open the same stored process directly in SAS Visual Analytics Viewer.

These problems can occur under the following conditions:

• You chose to manually deploy the web applications, but you either did not run the manualLoadContent script or you ran the script but it failed.
• You allowed the SAS^® Deployment Wizard to deploy the web applications, but the step that loads content did not complete successfully.

If you encounter these problems, look for the bisrvmid_loadContent_<timestamp>.log file. This log is in a location that is similar to SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/Logs/Configure/.

• If the log does not exist, then the script that loads content was never run. In this case, you must manually run the manualLoadContent script.
• If the log exists, then it probably contains an error that indicates why the step to load content failed. For example, the script would have failed if the SAS^® Web Server had not been running. The log might contain an error such as "503:Service Unavailable."
